How we use AI
AI helps us work faster. Judgement, challenge and accountability remain ours.
How we use AI
We use AI tools to support analysis and develop outputs, including structuring and synthesising research, testing ideas and drafting material for review. We use these tools through separate accounts, taking account of their respective terms and data-handling settings.
What stays out
Our work does not require access to customer-level data or client systems. We work primarily through interviews, workshops and aggregated information that clients already hold. We do not enter identifiable customer data or sensitive personal data into AI tools. Client information is handled in accordance with agreed confidentiality and information-handling requirements.
Judgement stays with us
AI supports our analysis; it does not replace professional judgement. Our recommendations draw on senior experience, independent thinking and constructive challenge. We review AI-generated material for accuracy, relevance and appropriateness before it is used in our work. Oakpath remains accountable for the advice and deliverables we provide.
Working your way
We respect each client's approach to AI, confidentiality and information security. We agree the appropriate approach at the outset, taking account of client requirements and any restrictions on the use of AI or particular information. Where required, we can use client-approved tools, adopt alternative approaches for specific materials or activities, or work without AI.
